The aim of this workshop is to review recent advances in our understanding of two-dimensional field theories with (0,2) supersymmetry and heterotic compactifications, both Calabi-Yau and flux vacua. Topics as (0,2) gauged linear sigma-models, Landau-Ginzburg models, constructions from six dimensions, F-theory and moduli in supergravity will be covered. Phenomenological and mathematical aspects of these topics will also be discussed.
It will take place during the Program on the mathematics of string theory at Institut Henri Poincaré, from May 30 to June 3 2016
Location
The conference will be held at Institut Henri Poincaré (11 Rue Pierre et Marie Curie, 75005 Paris), in amphithéâtre Darboux.
Registration
There is no conference fee for the registration. However we encourage the participants to register on the website for organizational reasons.
